I’ve added a few things which make it even better. Rear seat, bags, and a horn.

I love the bike but my husband wants to ride it and he is to tall for the bike. I am hoping that Himiway comes out with a seat riser like the scorpion moped-style bikes have. You can see in the picture the other bike seat is much higher.

I don’t have any pictures, but I’m happy to write a review. A very long review… The experience has been incredible from the start. Don’t get me wrong, it was hard to wait for this bike. It took a bit for it to ship, but I get supply and demand, not to mention pandemic having an effect on EVERYTHING. Even with my little-kid-birthday/holiday impatience, the customer service staff is extremely nice and quick to respond with any questions/concerns I had. When the bike finally arrived, I was in love right away. It was a little tricky getting it fully assembled, but some very informative YouTube videos walked me through it step-by-step. Unfortunately, it wasn’t Himiway’s videos, but that’s okay (I’m not super mechanically inclined). I highly recommend getting this baby insured. It’s probably not required anywhere, but it’ll definitely give you piece of mind. This is not a cheap bike. Then came the first ride. Granted it was just a little spin around my neighborhood, but holy smokes. This thing is a beast, but don’t let that intimidate you; it’s easy to handle. Take it slow with the power, especially if this is your first e-bike, just to get a feel. I’ve only ever had one other e-bike and it was pretty simple compared to the Escape. It took a little getting used to. A few trips around town and I was ready for my first real journey… Took a 30-mile roundtrip ride out to a lake to meet a friend, mostly on bike trails (thank you Pacific Northwest for all the lovely trails). On empty straight stretches, I got up to around 22mph doing pedal assist. Mind you I’m quite out of shape, so this is pretty awesome for me. Also, the 30 miles is a guess that’s probably on the low side considering I’m not that great with directions and had to double back a few times with connecting trails and whatnot. That being said, I got home with one bar of battery power to spare and I think it had just gone down to one bar. Pretty amazing to me. All in all it was a ride that I plan on doing again, maybe when the weather cools down to be even more enjoyable. I’ve also already made plans for another long ride and I don’t have to worry about anything besides getting out of bed early enough, because this bike can handle it. I’ve got a little ways to go with getting completely comfortable with the controls and stuff, managing with stopping (I am quite short at 5’3 and my torso is long which means stubby little legs, though I can reach the ground reasonably), and I’ve not yet taken The Beast off-roading. There are very few ‘improvements’ I can think of: maybe an adjustable seat for those that are vertically challenged, a longer/bigger rack for the back, perhaps some built-in turn signals since there is a wired brake light, and literally nothing else after looking the bike over from end to end for about 10-15 minutes. Even considering those things, I don’t regret for a moment the purchase of this bike. Thank you Himiway!

Shocks make all the difference. I have an ebike without shocks but when I got the Escape, I’ll be riding it and letting my friends use the other. I mostly ride on dirt roads and trails with my dogs so this is the bike for me. My only suggestion is I wish they offered a rear seat because I need to slide back to pedal.

We have a cruiser and a step through. We love the bikes. I have put about 800 miles on the cruiser, my wife has 600 on hers. The cruiser arrived two months before the ST but both within 4 months. The cruiser had minor damage but customer service resolved the issue quickly and completely. The bikes are insanely fun, fast, and look great. The brakes are the weakest point of the bike. They barely handle stopping this heavy bike and rider. I wore through my rears at 700 miles. They do get the job done but will likely need close maintaining. We have riden on all types of surfaces, beach, gravel, grass, paved, and the ride is smooth and comfy. We are very happy with the bikes.
