The Light Bee didn’t just join the e-moto world. It created it. The Light Bee 2 is what happens when Sur-Ron takes that blueprint and rebuilds it from the ground up. It keeps the same lightweight feel at roughly 65 kg and an 830 mm seat height, but everything underneath is new.
At its core is a true semi-solid-state battery developed with QingTao Energy, packing 3.53 kWh into just 14.9 kg with an energy density of 320 Wh/kg per cell. It runs cooler, offers greater resistance to thermal runaway, and delivers over 160 km of real-world range while feeding 24 kW of peak power and a 65 mph top speed through the new Evo 2 motor.
The B-Matrix controller delivers seven ride modes, from Crawl to Turbo, plus a fully customizable “M” mode for dialing in power, torque, and speed. A forged aluminum double-cradle frame, Kashima-coated 38 mm forks with 215 mm of travel, and four-piston brakes make sure the chassis matches the performance. Add SWCON wheelie assist, a regenerative braking trigger, and three-stage traction control, and the result is a bike that feels as advanced as it is capable.
